Guided by the vision of our beloved Master SADHU VASWANI, and revered Gurudev DADA J. P. VASWANI, the Sadhu Vaswani Centre Singapore, seeks in our humble way, to honor their teachings through the activities we conduct.

Regular satsangs (prayer meetings) are held every Friday 11 am to 12.30 pm and on Sundays 9.30 am to 10.45 am. We also get together to chant the Hanuman Chalisa 1st Tuesday 11 am to 12.30 pm and the Maha Mrithyunjaya Mantra 2nd Monday 4pm to 5pm, on a monthly basis. Festivals like Ganesh Chathurthi, Shivratri, Cheti Chand etc. are also celebrated with great enthusiam.

We conduct weekly character building classes for children aged 4 to 11, every Saturday from 11.30 am to 12.45 pm to impart moral values and Indian culture in an engaging manner by relating anecdotes from the epics and lives of saints and heroes. Bhajans, shlokas, mantras are also taught. We celebrate all the main festivals with the children, teaching them the significance of each festival. Holiday camps are also held to reinforce these teachings.

The Bridge Builders is a youth group who are dedicated to be instruments in his divine hands, in the service of mankind. They believe in putting others before self.

image010During our regular visits to various Homes, we provide residents with food and basic amenities. We spend time in loving service towards them. Our services include providing meals and groceries to foreign laborers and needy families on a monthly basis. Aid is offered towards needy children’s educational expenses. The Centre also contributes to emergency relief and rehabilitation programs following natural disasters. Special events are held for Senior Citizens to brighten up their day. Fund raising events are held, minimum twice a year.

image012Our clinic operates every Friday 10.30 am to 1 pm, providing free medical services to those who need it and has benefitted and healed many patients, suffering from various ailments.

From time to time, full medical check-ups are provided cost free for members, by a team of doctors.

image014International Meatless Day and Animal Rights Day is celebrated annually on 25th November.  The Centre creates awareness of animal cruelty, and obtains pledges from those willing to abstain from foods of violence for a day, or longer.  The Centre actively promotes a healthy vegetarian way of life.  We have released a vegetarian recipe book, “Delicious Vegetarian Recipes”, and hold vegetarian cooking classes, which teach dishes from various cuisines.

The Singapore Centre also publishes a quarterly magazine “Onward, Forward” which contains inspirational literature to enrich our minds and uplift our souls.
